BC.GAME has officially entered the Nigerian market with the launch of its new domain, bcbet.ng, following the acquisition of a local gaming licence.
The operator secured approval from the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA). This allows it to offer both sportsbook and casino services in one of Africa’s fastest-growing betting markets.
This marks BC.GAME’s second regulated market in Africa, after previously obtaining a licence in Kenya.
Nigeria is widely seen as a high-potential market for online betting and gaming, driven by a young, mobile-first population, increasing internet penetration and strong demand for real-time digital entertainment.
With the new launch, Nigerian users will gain access to hundreds of casino titles and a full suite of sports betting markets. The platform also supports transactions in the local currency, the Nigerian naira.
Alongside its market entry, BC.GAME says it has rolled out several platform improvements designed to enhance usability.
The company has also introduced additional transparency measures, including more visible guidance and explanatory materials to help users better understand key features and processes.
Commenting on the launch, BC.GAME CEO Kar Kheng Giam said the company is prioritizing clarity and trust as it expands into regulated markets.
“User experience today is closely tied to clarity, consistency and transparency. As we expand into new regulated markets such as Nigeria, we are focused on making the platform easier to understand while continuing to improve how we communicate with our users,” he said.
He added that Nigeria’s strong sports culture, particularly around football, combined with growing interest in digital gaming, makes it a strategic market for the company’s expansion.
