Betika Tanzania will once again sponsor the Mbeya Tulia marathon 2024 edition. The race is organized by Dr. Tulia Ackson the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, through Tulia Trust Foundation. Its main aim is to improve healthcare and education infrastructure in Mbeya.
Betika will be sponsoring this initiative for the second year in a row. The company said, “We are deeply touched to contribute to ensuring that the people of Mbeya receive better healthcare services and quality education. Good health and education are strong pillars of a better society.”
Last year, Betika Tanzania brought talented runner Gabriel Geay to Mbeya. He had just finished second in the Boston Marathon two weeks before taking part in the Tulia Marathon.
The Tulia Marathon will kick off at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya on May 10-11.
