Good news for Esports fans as the African Esports Championship is set to take place in a few days in Morocco. The event will take place from August 17th to 21st in Casablanca hosting the continent’s best athletes competing for national glory and secure a spot at the World Esports Championship in Riyadh this November.

This championship event will start with a grand opening ceremony on August 16th at the Complexe Sportif Mohammed V. Over 180 athletes from 17 countries will showcase their skills across three game titles in five competitions: CS2 Open, CS2 Women, MLBB Open, MLBB Women, and Dota 2.

Esports has been growing at an incredible pace worldwide, and now it’s Africa’s time to shine on the world stage. AEC24 marks a historic milestone as Africa’s first offline Esports championship which adds even more to the excitement. It will showcase the region’s Esports growth, talent, and passion, offering a glimpse into the promising future of Esports on the continent.
